"During almost two years of Covid quarantine, the pace of life and of time seemed to slow to a crawl. After a few months, I become aware of the daily transition of light and shadow spilling across my backyard patio and through the living room. I decided to take reference photos from approximately the same spot at different times of day to document the passage of time. Those photos inspired the "Time Keeps On Ticking" series of oil paintings."
