Danielak Fine ArtPasadena-based Danielak Fine Art (www.danielakfineart.com) was an innovative art sales and consulting services company which specialized in producing art-related events in alternative venues. Founded in 2000 as DanielakArt, the company was owned by curator Margaret Danielak, the author of A Gallery without Walls: Selling Art in Alternative Venues (ArtNetwork Press).

Margaret Danielak grew up in the art business. She is the daughter of landscape painter, Robert G. Stevens (1926-2004), whom she represents, and jewelry designer Wilkie (1917-2016). She holds a B.A. in History from the University of California at Berkeley and was a Producer Fellow at the American Film Institute. Ms. Danielak is the author of A Gallery Without Walls, an artist guide to producing innovative art-related events in alternative venues. The book was a featured selection of North Light Book Club.
An active volunteer in the Pasadena community, Ms. Danielak served on the Junior League of Pasadena’s ART SMART Committee, in association with The Armory Center for the Arts, on art projects for disadvantaged youth. She is the former Curator of the Women's City Club of Pasadena, located in the historic Blinn House. Ms. Danielak has received numerous grants to conduct Feminist Museum Tours at California Museums including The Norton Simon Museum, The de Young Museum, and most recently, The Huntington Library - Virginia Steele Scott Galleries of American Art. An artist career coach, she also conducted The Art of Selling Art Workshops with award-winning artist, Julie Snyder, founder of Workshops in France, (www.workshopsinfrance.com). |
