Larry Hagman had a long and storied acting career from his first major television role on "I Dream of Jeannie" in 1965 to his iconic role-playing the villaianous oil tycoon J.R. Ewing on the show "Dallas." His black Tony Lama cowboy boots became a symbol of his character's wealth and power. Larry played a ruthless character but was a generous individual donating all of the proceeds from his "Larry Hagman Stop Smoking for Life" video to charity. He died November 23, 2012.
